Jordan Lee, a Cleveland native, was born in Cleveland Heights and is a graduate of Cleveland State with a degree in Studio Art. He started Wright and Rede in 2012 after a 15 year stint working an uninspired career in the restaurant industry. What started as a leather working hobby quickly escalated info a full time business as early orders from friends and coworkers turned into word-of-mouth sales from all over the country. He values hard work, craftsmanship, straight forwardness, and really bad dad jokes.

Wright and Rede was founded in 2012 by Jordan Lee as a creative endeavor to provide meaning and value to the mundane accoutrements we carry through life. The company started with producing a bi fold wallet from domestically sourced leather that is designed to keep pocket clutter to a minimum while improving with use and age. These core values of simplicity and craftsmanship have since been applied to an entire line of leather goods including journals, passport cases, and portfolios. In 2014 a line of customized pocket knives focused combining functionality with visual appeal were released. 2016 will see the debut of a line of every day textiles including scarves and handkerchiefs.
